Role Overview: 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud-native applications across major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will be instrumental in automating the software delivery process through CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services. This position offers direct interaction with key clients and the opportunity to work alongside technology stakeholders, including CTOs and VPs of Engineering, to drive operational excellence.

Job requirements

→  6+ years of commercial experience in software development.

→  Proficiency in deploying, scaling, and monitoring applications on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.

→  Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management automation.

→  Expertise in monitoring, logging, application performance optimization, and security.

→  Strong background in cloud infrastructure management, disaster recovery planning, and containerization technologies.

→  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage operational incidents effectively.

→  Fluent English (C1 and above) and Polish (C2 or native) for effective communication.


Nice to Have:

→  Experience with Python and Ruby on Rails.

→  Interest in GPT and other AI models.

→  Experience in deploying single-page applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, scale, and monitor cloud-native applications across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery.
  • Manage and provision infrastructure through code for scalability and consistency.
  • Automate configuration management to ensure system reliability.
  • Establish monitoring and logging solutions for real-time performance tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize application performance and implement security protocols to protect data.
  • Develop backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, focusing on scaling, cost optimization, and deployment strategies.
  • Automate tasks to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and manage containerization with Docker for better scalability.
  • Quickly respond to operational incidents to minimize downtime and user impact.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system architectures and processes.
  • Facilitate communication between development, operations, and other stakeholders.


Salary:

24 700 - 30 500 PLN net + VAT (B2B agreement)


Location:

On-site in Kraków/hybrid/remotely.

The majority of the team is based in Kraków.
